Induction pitocin part 1
So the nurse checked for dilation an hour ago, D is dilating slowly. The cervix has thinned out and she is dilated around 1cm or so. Good news is the baby has dropped lower. So it’s a progress! Induction – pitocin
Contractions were not progressing. Nurse finally decided to start D on pitocin around 5:30 AM. Contractions are getting regular and stronger now🤞🏼
Induction – calling it a night
After a good dinner, some exercises on peanut ball and some late night upma made by D’s sister, we are calling it a night. The 12 hrs window for cervix thinning will end around 3:30 AM. Until then goodnight!
Non Stress test
Baby is doing all good! The monitor showed D is having contractions every 10 mins apart and lasting for roughly 40 secs. We are advised to go to Labor and Delivery for further monitoring since one of her blood pressure readings was high. Going to Labor and Delivery now!
