Contractions were not progressing. Nurse finally decided to start D on pitocin around 5:30 AM. Contractions are getting regular and stronger now🤞🏼
Water break
So D’s water broke around 3:30AM today. She was not dilated around that time. Nurse was going to start pitocin, but D’s contractions started to become regular, around 4-5 minutes apart and 40-50 seconds. Nurse decided to wait for a couple of hours before giving pitocin to see if her contractions progresses as expected.
Induction – calling it a night
After a good dinner, some exercises on peanut ball and some late night upma made by D’s sister, we are calling it a night. The 12 hrs window for cervix thinning will end around 3:30 AM. Until then goodnight!
